At Vasculearn Network, we believe the most powerful healthcare transformation begins with knowledge.

At Vasculearn Network, we believe the most powerful healthcare transformation begins with knowledge.

Shared freely, grounded in science, and made human through community. We are the first nonprofit to pioneer a digital-first, community-driven platform dedicated solely to improving the lives of people affected by blood clots and related vascular diseases.

Founded in 2006 as the North American Thrombosis Forum (NATF), VLN has evolved to meet the growing needs of patients, clinicians, and industry partners.

From our early days focused on venous thromboembolism (VTE) to our current leadership in broader vascular health education, our mission has remained clear: to connect, educate, and empower.

Impact championed by medical leaders

The Vasculearn Medical Advisory Board (MAB) is made up of leading clinicians, researchers, and educators across thrombosis, cardiovascular care, hematology, and related specialties.

They lend their expertise to ensure everything we create — from patient education to accredited CME — reflects the latest science, best practices, and what truly matters in the clinic.

Our MAB doesn’t just guide from afar — they participate directly in program design, content review, and patient support initiatives. Their involvement ensures our work stays clinically rigorous while remaining practical and compassionate.

What makes us different

1

People-first, always

Every piece of content we create — from in-depth toolkits to webinars and support groups — is designed to reduce fear, build confidence, and make information digestible. Education should feel like a helping hand, not a lecture.

2

Expert-backed, evidence-based

We’re led by some of the world’s foremost clinicians and researchers in thrombosis and cardiovascular care. Our Medical Advisory Board ensures that what we deliver is timely, accurate, and impactful.

3

A platform with purpose

Our online community hub lets patients, clinicians, and partners connect in a dynamic, collaborative environment. It’s not just about reading — it’s about sharing, asking, and being heard.
