After experiencing a blood clot, it’s normal to have a lot of questions. Many people are left feeling confused about why this happened to them and anxious about it happening again. NATF is here to be your support system.
Illness-focused support groups can be very beneficial to patients. NATF’s Blood Clot support groups allow patients to:
- Find accurate information about blood clots
- Learn about current research from an expert
- Share with others first-hand experiences
- Help one another cope with the physical and psychological challenges of a clot
Please note that the focus of this group tends to be less on newly diagnosed patients and more on continued education and support for long-time patients with a past blood clot. NATF offers another support group for newly diagnosed patients (those who had their clot in the last year). To sign up for the next Newly Diagnosed Support group, click here.
*Please note that our Support Groups will be virtual until further notice.*
